We hope you love your purchase from Rodwell and Astor, however, we understand if you change your mind when it arrives or if the piece doesn't quite fit as you hoped!
Rodwell & Astor no longer offers a refund for Change of Mind. Please let us assist you in making the best selections in store. If we still get it wrong we are happy to offer a full exchange.
In Store Purchases: We offer an exchange within 30 days from the date of purchase. Simply bring your item back to the store to facilitate an exchange.
Online orders: If you are unhappy with the product you have purchased (exclusions apply) you may return the item(s) minus shipping, handling charges, and insurance costs We offer an exchange within 30 days from the date of purchase. If you need to exchange your purchase send us an email at admin@rodwellandastor.com.au or call us on 03 90240080.
All return requests must be raised within 14 days of the date you received your order.
Returned items must be in their original packaging and condition, with all hardware, fixtures and accessories, and must not be used or altered in any way.
Return postage will be at the buyers expense unless stated otherwise.
A restocking fee of 30% may be applicable on change of mind exchanges if the item was ordered for you on demand. This amount will cover the reasonable costs of ordering stock in for you, as ordered items unfortunately cannot be returned to the manufacturer.
The re-stocking fee does not apply to stock items purchased and exchanged in store. In store purchases can be exchanged within 30 days. Excludes Custom Orders.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned or exchanged.
- Perishable goods such as body products cannot be returned.
- Gift cards
- Custom Orders
- Floorstock Items (Sold at a heavily reduced price)
- Sale Items
- End of Line heavily discounted items.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Faulty Items
If your feel you item is faulty, Please:
- Send us an email at admin@rodwellandastor.com.au
- Incude relevant pictures or video that explains the fault or
- Call us on 03 9024 0080 if you would like to discuss.
- We will then assess the item and if deemed faulty repair, replace or refund your item.
We take a lot of care in ensuring that our orders are carefully packaged for their journey to you, however we understand that breakages and damage can occur in transit.
In the event that your order arrives damaged or broken please follow these steps for a refund or replacement. Your claim must be submitted within 5 days of receiving your item so we encourage you to check items as soon as they arrive.
- Photograph the item. Ensure 3 things are visible in the photo. 1. the broken item or the damage. 2. The original packaging and any damage to the packaging. 3. The shipping label. Failure to claim within this period constitutes full acceptance of the goods.

Once we have received your claim we will assess and either replace or refund the item/s
If we require an authorised item to be returned it must be in the original packaging in which they were shipped. If upon return to Rodwell and Astor if a claim is invalid, a restocking fee may be applied.

We do not refund or replace a product that you have bought and received where, in our reasonable opinion, the product has: become of unacceptable quality due to fair wear and tear; misuse; failure to use in accordance with manufacturer's instructions; and relevant care Instructions; using it in an abnormal way; or not the way the product was intended for use; or failure to take reasonable care.
