An abstract painting of our journey through life, White Line on Linen follows the path of a welcome swallow as it flies below the roof inside an old town hall. In her abstract and minimal style, the artist wanted to depict the concept that we never follow the same path more than once. To this end, none of the lines in this work ever repeat, because we never have the same journey more than once.
The use of a white line creates a gentle contrast with the colour of linen to create a feeling of peace and tranquillity. Tory painted this work to music to find an even flow and rhythm in the brush strokes, so she could infuse the artwork with a raw and tribal essence.
The Limited edition canvas art print has been numbered and registered with Studio Elwood for authenticity and signed by the artist on the back of the canvas. Therefore the art print can hang horizontally or vertically depending on your installation requirements.

The art canvas is attached to MDF board as the backing. From there the canvas can be framed and we offer a choice of raw oak or white drop in frame of the highest quality. The depth of the frame off the wall is 40mm and there is a shadow box or gap of between 3-5mm between the canvas and the frame.

Extra- Large size prints
The art canvas is stretched onto kiln dried, acid free stretcher bar made from regrowth timber. The depth of the stretcher bar is 35mm and we have included bracing for extra support. The canvas comes with a canvas print bleed of 80mm.
Choose between a custom-made raw oak or white canvas drop in frame of the highest quality. The depth of the frame or off the wall is 55 mm and we have made a shadow box or gap of 5mm between the canvas and the Fine Art Print.

Care & Maintenance
Please note that your art should not be exposed to direct sunlight. Giclee prints are made to last however everything will deteriorate if exposed to long periods of direct sunlight. The canvas print has a protective UV clear coating. If by accident you should spill something on your canvas print, please wipe with a damp clean rag.
