About the Artist:
Martin King (b. 1957, Melbourne, Victoria) is a master printmaker, draftsman, and painter. He graduated with a Diploma in Fine Art and Design from Caulfield Institute of Technology, Melbourne (1978) and later a Post-Graduate Diploma in Fine Art from Sydney College of the Arts (1982). King’s practice spans painting, drawing, and printmaking, and his works are held in major private and public collections across Australia. His art often explores connections between natural environment, time, and memory through layered, textural surfaces and delicate mark-making.
