James Plant Art Nouveau Vase, Circa 1910
An elegant hand-decorated Art Nouveau vase by James Plant, featuring richly glazed floral motifs in soft green, cobalt blue and warm terracotta tones.
A beautiful and highly decorative James Plant vase dating to the Art Nouveau period, circa 1910. This piece features a rounded baluster form with a narrow neck and flared rim, finished in a soft sage green glaze with hand-decorated stylised floral and foliate motifs in cobalt blue, terracotta and green on a cream ground.
Rich in period charm, the design reflects the organic lines and flowing botanical influence synonymous with the Art Nouveau movement. The hand-painted decoration wraps beautifully around the body and neck, giving the piece visual interest from every angle. A wonderful standalone accent for a shelf, mantel or cabinet, or styled as part of a broader collection of antique and early 20th century ceramics.
A striking and collectible piece for lovers of antique pottery, English ceramics and Art Nouveau interiors.
