A refined example of mid-century Danish glass design, this sculptural white opaline vase was designed by Jacob Bang for Kastrup Glasværk in 1957.
Hand-blown with a fluid, organic silhouette, it captures the understated elegance and craftsmanship that define Scandinavian modernism.

Meet The Designer

Jacob E Bang was a pioneering figure in Danish glass design. As chief designer at Holmegaard Glassworks (1925–1942), he was instrumental in shaping the modern Danish aesthetic. After a period working in ceramics, he joined Kastrup Glasværk in 1957, continuing his legacy of elegant functionalism through minimalist form and masterful craftsmanship.

Rodwell and Astor requires a street for all deliveries, unfortunately we do not deliver to PO boxes unless prior shipping arrangements have been made with us. Deliveries are only door to door and not brought into the premise unless stated otherwise. 
PICK UP from our Brunswick store is free and available during business hours. 
We check all orders thoroughly prior to notification that your goods are ready for collection, however we encourage all pick ups to be checked at the time of collection. Collection of orders is the bearers responsibility and damage claims will not be accepted.
